Leather Holdall Bags

Q: What type of leather are PRIMEHIDE holdall bags made from?

PRIMEHIDE holdalls are crafted from premium leather - the highest grade of real leather, taken from the outermost layer of the hide. This gives the bags exceptional durability, natural character, and the ability to develop a rich patina over time. You will not find bonded leather or PU-coated alternatives in this collection.

Q: Are PRIMEHIDE leather holdall bags suitable as carry-on cabin luggage?

Several styles in the collection, including the Texan Leather Holdall Duffle, are designed with cabin travel in mind - compact enough to meet standard airline overhead locker guidelines while spacious enough for a two- to three-day trip. We recommend checking the dimensions listed on each individual product page against your specific airline's carry-on policy before travelling.

Q: How do I care for a real leather holdall bag?

Keep your leather holdall conditioned with a quality leather balm or cream every three to six months, depending on frequency of use. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or heavy rain. If the bag gets wet, allow it to dry naturally away from heat sources, then condition once fully dry. Treated correctly, full-grain leather improves with age rather than deteriorating.

Q: Can a PRIMEHIDE leather holdall be personalised as a gift?

Yes. PRIMEHIDE offers personalisation through engraving and embossing - adding initials, a name, or a short message to create a genuinely bespoke gift. A mens leather holdall bag with personalised initials is a considered, lasting gift for partners, colleagues, or family members marking milestones such as birthdays, promotions, or retirements.

Q: What is the returns policy on leather holdall bags?

PRIMEHIDE offers a 30-day returns policy across all orders. If your bag is not right - whether that is size, colour, or style - returns can be initiated within 30 days of delivery. Please refer to the full Refund & Return Policy page for terms, particularly regarding personalised items.

Q: Do PRIMEHIDE holdalls come in styles suitable for women?

The collection includes silhouettes that work equally well as a womens leather holdall - in particular, the structured duffle and vintage holdall styles translate naturally across genders. If you are purchasing as a gift or shopping for yourself, the product descriptions specify dimensions and carrying options to help match the right style to the right person.

Q: What size leather holdall should I choose?

The right size depends on your primary use case. For gym use or a single overnight stay, a medium duffle-style holdall in the 30-40 litre range is typically sufficient. For a 2-3 day business trip or weekend away, a large holdall will accommodate clothing, toiletries, and incidentals without feeling overstuffed. Dimensions are listed on each product page to help you make the right call before purchasing.

Leather Holdall Bags Built for Travel

A great leather holdall bag is more than luggage. It becomes part of your journey. At PRIMEHIDE, we design leather holdall bags that are made to last for years, not seasons. Each bag is crafted from genuine full-grain leather and built for travel, work, gym, and weekend trips.
Whether you are travelling for business or planning a short break, our leather holdall bags give you space, strength, and timeless style in one.

Real Leather That Gets Better With Age

We make every leather holdall bag from premium & full-grain leather, the strongest and highest-quality part of the hide. We do not use PU, bonded leather, or fake materials.
Premium Full-grain leather:

Feels strong and natural
Handles daily travel and heavy use
Develops a rich patina over time
Looks better as it ages

We finish each bag with strong stitching, durable linings, and solid metal hardware designed for long-term use. This is real leather craftsmanship you can trust.
