Leather Tips
01. Be sure to keep it dry and cool.
In order to keep leather in good condition, it should be stored in a cool, dry place, out of the path of anything that could scuff or mark it.
02. Dust Bags should be used
The leather bags you purchase from PRIMEHIDE come with a dust bag. You should use this to keep your bag dust-free and scrape-free.
03. Watch out for wet weather.
If your leather product gets wet, Dab it with a dry cloth or let it dry naturally. You should avoid prolonged exposure to wet conditions, so keep your leather goods indoors when it’s rainy.

Primehide is proud to offer a personalisation service on most of our leather products, enabling you to make an item unique and truly special. You can add up to 5 characters for a truly individual and thoughtful gift that will be cherished for years.
You can choose between three different effects: Embossing, Silver/ Gold Foil or Engraving.
BLIND EMBOSSING: The creation of a pattern, image or text on a surface is known as blind embossing, where the print is pressed into the material to leave a permanent cavity. Heat and pressure combined together reshape the surface to create the impression. Embossing is our most popular method of personalisation technique. We emboss many bags, wallets and purses on a weekly basis.
We can emboss up to 5 characters on nearly all of our products. These can be placed on the inside or outside of your chosen product. Depending on the shape and size of an item, the placement of the personalisation may be limited to one or two places only but in general, you will be able to choose from several options.
HOT FOIL PRINTING: Our personalisation team use traditional brass blocking dies combined with hot presses to emboss your chosen leather gift with either gold or silver foil.
ENGRAVING: Laser engraving offers accurate and perfect cutting. The laser module is controlled by software, cutting the material quickly and neatly without even having contact with the leather surface. We can engrave up to 10 characters though this depends on the product size and design features.Â
